Establishes contact with supplier and periodically discusses progress of order. • Review all proposals from vendors for completeness of work scope, review and make recommendations on shipping and customs clearance • Interface with the Project Management Team regarding any issues related to vendors’ performance, concerns or contractual conflicts. • Monitor vendors’ and sub-contractors’ performance and ensure early resolution of issues by any vendor relating to the contract terms compliance and the execution of their work scope. • Read inspection reports and follow up with supplier on progress of correcting deficiencies. Coordinate supplier notification of required testing • Periodic reporting of activity as required by Management. Provide various reports; ensure control of customs documentation, interaction with TCO Warehouse • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly expediting reports. • Generate purchase requisitions (PR) in JDE system. • Dealing with various agencies in the course of daily work to coordinate the equipment customs clearance. Verification of availability of the necessary import documentation such as certificates of origin and cargo control documents. |
